What Is Love Actually?
What Is Love Actually?
“Love is but a thought that kills”. – Richard R. Powell. Love encompasses a wide range of positive and negative emotional states, from the strongest personal virtue or ideal, the most intense personal passion, to the simplest joy. Love can be defined as a divine, unyielding force that elevates us to new levels of existence – and then brings us back down again as quickly as it lifted us. In Love there is no competition, no striving for position, no favoritism, no selfishness, no hypocrisy and no need for material possessions – just pure and unadulterated love for a perfect partner.
We all speak in love languages. What we mean by this is that our thoughts and feelings resonate with one another, and this is very easy to decipher. Love is not lust, and if you can identify with this truth you can quickly begin to understand what your partner feels for you. Many people are unaware of their own feelings, and so they do not communicate their love languages effectively with their partners.
The most common form of love languages is physical affection – the kind that we all know and feel when we receive the gift of hugs, kisses, cuddling and physical affection from someone. However, unconditional love is also a powerful force, an ever lasting affection for your partner, even if they do not reciprocate your attention. Unconditional love is the basis of all forms of romantic love in all cultures, and is not something that can be easily swayed by the superficial. This kind of love is the foundation of trust and faith in a relationship, as it is the basis of sharing your feelings without expecting reciprocation in return.
Love is also a mind set, an ideology that enables you to experience happiness, contentment and fulfillment. Love means different things to different people, but it usually involves a shared desire for another person’s happiness, success and fulfillment. It does not always involve sexual attraction, as some people think of love and romance as being fundamentally sexual in nature. Instead, it is an ideology that enables you to have compassion for another person and share their good fortune with them. It is the ideal relationship to have, and a partnership that allow two people to nurture each other and share their happiness and passion for life.
Love in its most pure form is one of the most powerful emotions, as it can be felt in the very depths of human emotions and as such, can be expressed through our own interactions with another person. Love relationships enable us to express our deepest feelings, and share our most intimate thoughts and emotions with another person. Love is the most powerful force in the universe because it can manifest itself in all kinds of creative ways when expressed between two people who are committed to their relationship. It is a powerful form of intimacy and the secret is to know how to bring it out into the light of day.
One of the best things about love is that it is a beautiful emotion that can bring a person together on a level that is rarely matched in any other form of relationship. We all need love in our lives, but if we fail to nurture it and nourish the feelings within us, they will wither and die. However, loving another and sharing our feelings are an essential part of what makes a healthy relationship. If we are going to truly love someone, then we must be willing to give them unconditional love and create a deep bond of compassion, trust, and understanding within our relationship. If we do not nurture this inner bond, then the love that we have for them will wither and die, and the relationship will be nothing more than an intimate friendship.
